Nouveau Ball Clock
I believe this unusual clock to be German, and is probably an anniversary clock. Made of wood and metal with brass fittings, and lovely nouveau numerals. The clock does work.

Art Nouveau Ball Clock
A cute little desk clock probably made in about 1910. The ball clock sits
between 3 smaller balls and can be pivoted or lifted off completely. It has
a base of beige marble which measures 5 x 4.5 inches with a curved front.
Alas the Clock does not appear to be in running order. I have a similar big
brother to this one email me for pics if required.

The Ultimate Clock Set! Not for the faint-hearted this one - and I'm not sure where to start! French, Spelter (in the main), unsigned, but by 'Limousin', and what a stunning piece. This could be the most amazing clock set I have ever owned. The clock is mounted in a spelter wall with stylised column detail and flowers cascading everywhere. At the front is a stepped alter with a flaming urn, and around it dance the two lovely ladies. The base is 24 inches (61cm) wide and is of pinky-mauve marble with verdigre front and sides. This detail is echoed on the 2 matching garnitures - which in themselves are absolutely wonderful. Add them to the clock and the whole ensemble is a feast for the eyes and senses. A very large and heavy piece with a real presence. Ref: CL504 . . . £1645 |
 Nouveau Plaster Clock
This lovely clock is apparently from the early 20th century and is made of plaster. A signed piece, but the signature is indistinct - but possibly C. Hobolk? It is a large piece measuring nearly 24 inches tall and 10 inches wide and 6 inches deep. A winged lady in long flowing robes, possibly 'Mother Time', standing on a numeral sphere. She is holding a book with the inscription 'Le Temps est cher' (time is precious?). The clock is working but could do with a service or a clean. Condition is very good considering its age and composition, although there is some sign of a possible restoration to one of the top corners of the clock. Ref: CL534 . . . £695 |
